Wellsville Police Blotter - June 18, 2025

Date: Wednesday June 18, 2025 

Wellsville Police arrested Michael S. McDonald, age 44 of Wellsville, charging him with DWI (Unclassified Misdemeanor), Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7^th (Class A Misdemeanor) and No Stopping/Standing/Parking on a Highway (Infraction).  The charges stem from a traffic stop on Chestnut Street.  McDonald was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released to the New York State Police on other charges.  McDonald is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on July 8^th at 4:30 pm. Troopers charged him with two counts of second-degree criminal contempt. He was remanded to the Allegany County Jail with bond set at $30,000 cash. 

 

Wellsville Police arrested Caitlin E. Jones, age 39 of Canandaigua, charging her with Petit Larceny (Class A Misdemeanor).  The charge stems from an incident that took place at Walgreens on North Main Street.  Jones was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released.  Jones is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on July 8^th at 4:30 pm.

 

Wellsville Police arrested Linda L. Patterson, age 51 of Wellsville, charging her with Petit Larceny (Class A Misdemeanor) and Trespass (Violation).  The charges stem from an incident that took place on Washington Street.  Patterson was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released.  Patterson is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on July 8^th at 4:30 pm.
