For Immediate Release: Older Adult Wellness Expo and Public Hearing in Allegany County

[Allegany County, NY] – Older adults, caregivers, and community members are invited to attend the Older Adult Wellness Expo and Public Hearing on Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Wellsville Alfred State Campus Pioneer Union Center, 2530 River Rd, Wellsville, NY.

 

Hosted by Ardent Solutions, Inc. and the Allegany County Office for the Aging, this free event features wellness activities, health screenings, and an opportunity to provide input on aging services in Allegany County. Attendees will learn about the Office for the Aging’s proposed aging services plan for the upcoming year and will have the chance to provide direct feedback regarding the needs and priorities of older adults in Allegany County.

 

“Community members are encouraged to join us, discover more about available services, and contribute to shaping the future of aging in Allegany County,” shared Jose Soto, Ardent Solutions’ Systems Transformation Manager.

 

Doors will open at 10:00 a.m. with activities pausing at noon for lunch and the Public Hearing and will resume at 1pm. Jones Memorial Hospital will offer the

health and wellness screenings offered by Jones Memorial Hospital, featuring blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose, bone density, pulmonary function testing, and the Tanita Scale.

 

“Attendees will enjoy live demonstrations from local fitness and wellness programs and can visit information booths showcasing services and programs for older adults. Each time participants visit an information booth, they will be entered into our end of day raffles,” continued Soto.
