New York State Police Blotter – March 31, 2025
3/31/25 9:49 p.m. – Troopers were called to the
scene of a domestic dispute in the town Willing. After investigation, state
police arrested Sara A. Brassell, 40, of Wellsville. She was charged with felony
first-degree criminal contempt-violating an order of protection with physical
contact. Brassell was processed and taken to the Allegany County Jail to await
Central arraignment.
3/31/25 10:06 p.m.- Warsaw-based state police were
called to a reported weapon assault in the town of Eagle. Troopers then
arrested Salvatore C. Scinta, 56, of Bliss. He was charged with felony
second-degree assault with intent to cause physical injury with a weapon/instrument,
second-degree menacing with a weapon and criminal possession of a weapon. He
was detained on cash bail.
