New York State Police Blotter – April 19, 2025
4/19/25 5:48 p.m. – During a traffic stop in the town
of Scio, state police arrested John M. Kraus, 56, of Friendship. He was charged
with felony DWI and felony having a BAC greater than .08%. He was taken to the
Allegany County Jail for Central arraignment.
4/19/25 9:05 p.m. – After being called to investigate
a trespass complaint in the town of Burns, state police arrested Skyla M. O’Quinn,
43, of Dansville. Skyla was charged with criminal trespass, two counts of criminal
possession of a controlled substance and two counts of illegal destruction of a
hypodermic. Troopers also arrested Robert A. Snyder, 55, of Alfred Station. He
was charged with second-degree criminal trespass of a dwelling. Each was issued
a court appearance ticket.
4/19/25 8:51 a.m.- Hornell-based state police were
called to the scene of a single vehicle crash on I-86 in Freemont. Troopers
said one person was injured. Police listed the operator as Youssef Mahmoud
Moursy, 22, of Alfred.
