Wellsville Police make arrest after vehicle crash on East State Street
Authorities say two people sustained minor injuries at
single vehicle crash at 4 a.m. Friday on East State Street near Miller Street.
Reports from the scene indicted the vehicle had sheared off to utilities poles
and flipped onto its side. The street was also littered with debris. After
investigating, Wellsville Police arrested Dylan J. Davis, age 19 of Wellsville,
charging him with DWI (Unclassified Misdemeanor), DWI w/BAC of .08% or more
(Unclassified Misdemeanor) and moved from lane unsafely (Infraction). Davis was
processed, issued an appearance ticket and released to a third party. Davis is
due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on May 13th at 4:30 pm. The street
between Scott Avenue and Andover Road was closed for several hours while
utility crews made repairs.
