Leon A. SNYDER, 83, of Westfield, PA, died Thursday,
December 19, 2024 in his home. Born
July 21, 1941, in Coudersport, he was the son of Leon J. and Helen Brown
Snyder. He was employed as a carpenter
by Al Pagano Construction in Galeton and worked as a self-employed logger. Leon served as a forest fire warden. Surviving are: his wife, Vicky Snyder; five
children, Shane Snyder of Ulysses, Travis (Diane) Snyder of Mansfield, Todd
(Rebecca) Snyder of Hornell, Sonja (Edward, Jr.) Stevens of Ulysses, and Helen
Snyder of Rexville; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Ruth Webb
of Galeton; four step-children, Larry (Jenny) Keeney, Jr. of NC, Lucinda
(Frank) Asbury of WV, Tracey (Jay) McConnell of Harrison Valley, and Steven
(Kristin) Davis of Lawrenceville. He was
predeceased by his first wife, Ruth Marie Proctor Snyder; a daughter, Teal
Springer; three step-sons, Timothy Horton, Randy Horton, and Roger Davis; a
step-daughter, Tina Mott; and a grandson, Jason Snyder. Cremation was at Olney-Foust Private
Crematory. Friends may gather at the
Harrison Township Community Building on Saturday, December 28, 2024 for a
luncheon and time of fellowship beginning at 1:00 PM. Memorials may be made to a charity of the
donor’s choice. Arrangements are under
