MEDICARE INSURANCE FAIR
BEING
OFFERED BY THE ALLEGANY COUNTY OFFICE FOR THE AGING
Medicare
Open enrollment is October 15 to December 7. If you are a Medicare beneficiary, it is
important for you to open all mail from your plan because that is how you will
know what changes are happening with your health insurance plan in 2025! The time to make changes is during the
Medicare open enrollment (October 15- December 7) and it will be critical for
you to make sure your plan is all set for 2025!
We
have trained Medicare insurance counselors at the Allegany County Office for
the Aging to help people navigate through Medicare changes, but all our
insurance counselors are fully booked for the 2024 Open Enrollment season. As a
response to the increased need for assistance, the Allegany County Office for
the Aging will be hosting a Medicare Insurance Fair on Tuesday,
November 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Crossroads Center, 6087 State
Rt. 19 N, Belmont.
Don't
miss your opportunity to speak with insurance companies offering plans in our
area! The Office for the Aging will have staff onsite to answer questions and
screen Medicare beneficiaries for important money saving programs.
Reservations are required for this event and can be
made by calling the Allegany County Office for the Aging at 585-268-9390.
Medicare
beneficiaries can also contact a trained insurance counselor at 1-800- MEDICARE
(1-800-633-4227) for assistance.
