Shinglehouse man jailed without bail

A Shinglehouse was remanded to jail without bail Wednesday night following his arrest by Pennsylvania troopers. Jeremy Armacost, age 53, was taken into custody and charged with Harassment – communicating lewd or threatening language as well as Harassment – course of conduct with no legitimate purpose. He was arraigned at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday by Magisterial District Judge Kari A. McCleaft and bail was denied. He was then transferred to Potter County Jail. According to the docket…”Bail Action Reason: A Public Threat to himself and others/Law Enforcement.” Armacost will return to court November 6th for a preliminary hearing. The defendant has requested a Public Defender.
