Fire inside Fillmore Central School

A fire broke out inside the gym at Fillmore Central School. The alarm company notified Allegany County 911 and Fillmore and Wiscoy-Rossburg fire departments were dispatched at 3:09 a.m. today. After being told what alarm zones had been activated, a fire chief found "a small fire in the small gym." The fire was reported to be extinguished at 3:33 a.m. Multiple Allegany County Fire Investigators responded to the school as did State Police. The cause remains under review.
