Bath Police raid home, find "sizeable quantity of suspected fentanyl"


On 6/10/20 at approx. 6:36 p.m. The Village of Bath Police Department in conjunction with the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office and Steuben County District Attorney’s Office executed a no knock search warrant at 518 W. Washington St. in the Village of Bath. The search warrant was the conclusion of a narcotics sales investigation at the residence. A sizeable quantity of suspected fentanyl was seized along with scales and packaging materials. Also found in the residence was the materials needed to manufacture methamphetamine.

Shannon L. Brockway Sr. also known as “Shag”, age 50, of 518 W. Washington St., Bath was charged with Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine in the Third Degree, a class D felony and sent to the Steuben County Centralized Arraignment Court.

Nanette Peter, age 32, homeless, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree and released on an appearance ticket.
More charges are likely once the suspected narcotics is analyzed at the State Police Crime Lab.
