Wellsville says goodbye to Jerome

Jerome Joseph Hart, 55, died May 2nd. He was a retired New York State Trooper (Bureau of Criminal Investigation), a member of the New York National Guard, main Street businessman, former fire chief and member of the Emerald Hook and Ladder Company and owner of Hart Memorials.

Jerome was a member, usher, and grounds chairman, of the Immaculate Conception Parish. He served on the Immaculate Conception School Board, taught Physical Education and Health at ICS in the spring of 1992, and was a recess monitor for 20 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 919, and the Olean Assembly 721, Fourth Degree, Knights of Columbus.

Today at 1 p.m., the community came out under a steady snow, to say goodbye to the man who lost his fight with cancer. Today...we honor Jerome.
