The following is a list of funds made
available to the community by the Wellsville Lions Club in the month of February.
-$110
payment to the US Postal Service for stamps from the Supplies account.
-$206.10
donation to Wellsville Strong food pantry to help supply people that are in need of
food from the Civic Improvement committee.
-$300
donation to the Salvation Army to supply their food pantry from the
President’s
Reserve fund.
-$2,200
payment to Whispering Pines Fish Farm for fish for the trout derby from the
Trout Derby committee. The fish were
placed in the Genesee River for the community to catch.
-$500
donation to the Lions Eye Bank to assist during the pandemic from the Sight
Conservation
committee.
-$250.08
payment to Shorts Grocery for pizza for the Jones Memorial Hospital staff
from the
Health & Welfare committee. This was
in conjunction with the Scio Lions Club.
