Jesse M. Leverett “gone but never forgotten”
SHINGLEHOUSE, Pa.---Jesse Martin Leverett, 58, of
Shinglehouse, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2020, in Olean General Hospital,
Olean, N.Y., after a long illness.
Born on Friday, November 24, 1961 in Bradford, he was a son
of Albert and Constance Loucks Leverett.
One of Jesse’s greatest joys in life was being the owner of
Jake’s Place in Eldred. He enjoyed
fishing out on the lake with his brother, Al, and also enjoyed going to
auctions and playing bingo. He loved taking his girls to the races when they
were young. He loved to cook. He was a diehard fan of the Buffalo Bills. Jesse had a great sense of humor and had a
few but very close friends. He showed
respect to everyone he met. He will be
sorely missed.
Jesse is the beloved father to four daughters, Ann, Jessica,
Kristy, and Holly; and grandfather to thirteen beautiful grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Bonita
“Bonnie” (Ted) Mix and Lois (Ronald) Bennett; his beloved, Debbie George; and
several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Jesse was predeceased by a
brother, Al Leverett.
In keeping with Jesse’s wishes there will be no public
visitation.

Shinglehouse Volunteer Ambulance Association, PO Box 98, Shinglehouse, PA
16748.
Jesse’s family has entrusted his care and cremation
