Letter to the Editor:
Congressman Reed is truly a smooth operator but I guess that's what we want in politicians nowadays --- people who let a hole be put in the bottom of the boat and then work to convince you that they are the best ones to save you from drowning. The Congressman, who never says "boo" in any meaningful or serious way (just like his fellow Party sheep) when it comes to criticism of Trump's hate-filled, divisive rhetoric and out-right lies is now deeply concerned about bullying, if we are to honestly believe Mr. Reed on this issue. Really?!? Congressman, have you considered what has become normalized in the last three years and that maybe your bill is a losing proposition when young people have you-know-who as a role model. How about first introducing some legislation to rein in the bully-in-chief??? Or maybe, Congressman, you can get together with Melania Trump on anti-bullying. Early in her husband's Presidency, I believe she or her press agent said that anti-bullying was going to be a signature issue for her to pursue in her role as First Lady. I guess all the strides she has made in this regard have simply been ignored by the fake news press.
