The Allegany Senior Foundation is sponsoring another Family Day at the Dresser Rand Challenger Learning Center on Friday, July 12th, 2019. There are two programs to attend:
1. Mission to Comet Halley is for children age 10 and older with an adult age 60 and over. Study the comet and help construct a space probe, study rock samples, navigate the ship, and keep the crew alive and safe. This simulation requires reading.
2. S.P.A.C.E. Academy is for children who have completed Kindergarten and older with an adult age 60 and over. S.P.A.C.E. Academy participants will discover a New World and learn about electricity in hands-on STEM activities.
Cost is $5.00 per person and includes bus transportation from the OFA in Belvidere and lunch. Space is limited, so call the OFA at 585-268-9390 to reserve your places!
