Flames consumed a barn in the Town of Willing overnight. The
alarm sounded at 11:27p.m. Wednesday sending firefighters to Ludden Road where it becomes Riley Road. 911
initially told responders there were animals inside the structure. The first
chief on scene reported the building was fully involved in fire and others were
at risk. In addition to the Willing fire department, crews and equipment were
called in from Whitesville, Genesee (PA), Harrison Valley (PA), Andover, Wellsville and
Scio. The fire was declared out at 12:39 this morning. Fire investigators were
called to the scene to probe for the cause. No injuries were reported. County
tax records show the property owners are listed as Charles and Mary Stout.
9:30 a.m. UPDATE: Several departments have returned to the scene for a re-kindle.
