Allegany County Sheriff's Blotter

August 8: Allegany County Sheriff Rick Whitney reports that with the assistance of the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies arrested Phillip G. McIntosh, age 56 of Wayland, on a Bench Warrant issued by Allegany County Court. McIntosh, who was being released from the Steuben County Jail on unrelated charges, was processed and transported to Allegany County Court where he was arraigned and released on his own recognizance. McIntosh is due to reappear in Allegany County Court on September 10, 2018 at 10:30 am for additional court action. 

August 8: Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office arrested Patrick J. Hale, age 22 of Friendship on a Violation of Probation Warrant issued by the Town of Cuba Court. Hale was arrested, processed, and transported to the Town of Friendship Court where he was arraigned and remanded to the Allegany County Jail with bail set at $1,000 cash or $2,000 bond. Hale is due to reappear in the Town of Cuba Court on August 21, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. for additional court action. 

August 7: Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Village of Angelica Police Department with the arrest of Nathan R. Lehman, age 39 of Angelica on an Arrest Warrant issued by the Village of Angelica Court. Lehman was arrested without incident at the Allegany County Court Complex, processed, and turned over to the Village of Angelica Police Department.
