Tax increase in Potter County

Potter County Commissioners on Thursday approved the 2018 tax levy. Taxpayers will pay a tax levy of 17.5 mills, an increase of .5 mills. Officials say the hike will generate about $170,000 for the county coffers. The 2018 county budget is expected to be approved December 21st.
