Car vs Bus Motor Vehicle Accident Town of Mount Morris

The Livingston County Sheriff's Office is investigating a motor vehicle accident that took place Saturday on Mount Morris-Nunda Road (State Route 408), in the Town of Mount Morris, involving a sedan with one occupant and a Rochester City School Bus, occupied by twenty-four people. The accident is still under investigation, but weather and road conditions are believed to have played a factor. The driver of the sedan, a 33 year old female, was transported to the hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries. Three juveniles were also transported to the hospital by ambulance precautionary with minor injuries. The section of roadway was temporarily closed while emergency crews were on location, but has since opened back up to traffic. 
 
On scene for the Livingston County Sheriff's Office were Chief Deputy Burgess, Sergeant Swanson, Sergeant VanAuken (FIU), Deputy Moran (FIU), Deputy Greco and Deputy Butterbrodt. Additionally, Mount Morris Fire/EMS, Nunda Fire/EMS, Livingston County EMS, Dansville EMS and Avon EMS responded to the scene.
