Wellsville woman charged with tampering with evidence

Allegany County Sheriff Rick Whitney reports that on May 4th, Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office with assistance from the Wellsville Police Department, arrested Jescinda M. Howells, age 46 of Wellsville charging her with Tampering with Physical Evidence. The charges stem from an investigation by the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office and the Allegany County Probation Department.
Howells was located at an address in Wellsville, processed, and transported to the Town of Amity Court where she was arraigned and remanded to the Allegany County Jail with bail set at $500 cash/$1000 bond. Howells is to reappear in the Town of Amity Court on May 31st 2017 at 5:30 p.m for additional court action.
