Mental Health First Aid Youth Training

Ardent Solutions invites community members to participate in the Mental Health First Aid-Youth Training scheduled for Wednesday, June 14, 2017  9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. at the St. Philip’s Episcopal Church-Parish Hall, 12 Willets Avenue, Belmont, NY 14813. The cost for the Mental Health First Aid Youth Training is $20.00 which includes a continental breakfast, lunch and all materials. The training is open to the public. 
Youth Mental Health First Aid is an eight hour public education program which introduces participants to the unique risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in adolescents, builds understanding of the importance of early intervention, and teaches individuals how to help an adolescent in crisis or experiencing a mental health challenge. 
This training is designed for adults who regularly interact with adolescents (teachers, school staff, coaches, youth group leaders, parents, etc.). There is a twenty dollar registration fee to enroll in the training which includes all materials, continental breakfast and lunch.
