Allegany County: Man who drove drunk, killed teen, sent to prison
A man who drove drunk on Dow Road in Centerville a year ago, crashed and killed a teen, is headed to state prison. In Allegany County court Friday, Thomas R. Marion, 22, of State Route 19 in Caneadea, was sentenced to up to 10 and a half years in state prison. He pleaded guilty in March to 1st degree vehicular manslaughter. 15-year-old Jasmine R. Uveino-Braymiller, of Portageville was killed in the crash. Police said Marion had a blood alcohol content of .09% at the time of the crash. His vehicle had four passengers when the vehicle slammed into a pole. Judge Thomas Brown also sentenced Marion to three years conditional discharge with a requirement for an an ignition interlock as well as court surcharges and DNA fees.
