Born October 7, 1963, in Cuba, NY, he was the son of the late Duane E. Barber, Sr. and Dorothy A. Smith Barber.
Darren graduated from Alfred State College with an Associate’s Degree in Automotive Services and an added Certification in Heavy Equipment, Truck and Diesel Technician, prior to college Darren attended Cuba Central School, Cuba, NY. Darren enjoyed motorcycle rides, restoring classic cars and trucks, hunting and fishing. Darren was employed by Dimar Manufacturing Corporation in Clarence, NY.
Darren is survived by his wife, Linda Barber, Belfast, his son Brad (Kayla) Barber, Belfast, NY, grandchildren, Elaina, Maverick and Alora; his stepchildren, Christopher Logue of Belfast, Eric (Michelle) Logue of Wellsville;16 Step-Grandchildren and 17 Step-Great Grandchildren; his siblings Duane “Cork” (Pamela) Barber Jr. of Black Creek, NY, Donn (Susan) Barber of Arcadia, FL, and Jewel Barber Stuck of Elma, NY, a Sister-in-law Tina Barber of Hinsdale, NY and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Darren was predeceased by a brother Doug Barber and stepsons, Danny Logue Jr. and Anthony "Tony" Logue.
Friends will be received at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull Street on Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at which time a Funeral Service will be held. Pastor Claudia Little will officiate.
