Wellsville Police make more arrests

Date: Sunday October 13, 2024 

Wellsville Police arrested Joseph A. Anderson, age 36 of Wellsville, charging him with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2^nd (Class A Felony), Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3^rd (Class B Felony), Aggravated Criminal Possession of a Weapon (Class C Felony), Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3^rd – Firearm with a previous conviction (Class D Felony), Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4^th (Class E Felony) and Maegan Rix, age 32 of Wellsville, charging her with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2^nd (Class A Felony), Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3^rd (Class B Felony) and Criminal Nuisance 1^st (Class E Felony).  The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant at 105 Early Street in the Village of Wellsville.  Anderson and Rix were processed, and transported to the Allegany County Jail pending arraignment in CAP Court.  Anderson and Rix are due to appear in Wellsville Village Court at a later date.

Date: Saturday October 12, 2024 

Wellsville Police arrested Kristi L. Sheridan, age 40 of Wellsville, charging her with Pettit Larceny (Class A Misdemeanor).  The charge stems from an incident that took place at Dollar General on West Dyke Street.  Sheridan was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released.  Sheridan is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on November 19^th at 4:30 pm.
