CA BOCES Update – October 24, 2020
We recently received notification from the Allegany County Department of Health (ACDOH) that a person from a program at the CA BOCES CTE Center at Belmont has tested positive for COVID-19. Formal contact tracing and testing is currently in progress. The Department of Health requires that all students move to a virtual model for a 24-hour period so deep cleaning and sanitizing can occur. As such, the Belmont Center, in all capacities, will be closed again on Monday, October 26, 2020. Normal operations are planned for Tuesday, October 27. Our CTE Centers at both Ellicottville and Olean are not impacted and will follow their regular schedule for the remainder of the week and our regular health practices — social distancing, masking, and regular sanitizing — will continue at all CA BOCES locations.
