Schuyler County to return to in-person meetings

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Schuyler County to return to in-person meetings.

The Schuyler County legislature voted Thursday (June 11) to return to in-person meetings.

In order to maintain social distancing, the legislature voted to hold the meetings in the Human Services Complex in Montour Falls, rather than the County Legislative chambers at the Courthouse Complex in Watkins Glen.

The next regularly scheduled meeting of the county legislature will be held Monday (July 13).

During the COVID-19 crisis, the legislature has been meeting by video-conference, with footage streamed to the county’s YouTube channel.

Updated schedules and notices pursuant to Open Meetings Law will be posted on the county’s official website.
