BATH – New York State released detailed guidance for businesses that are eligible to restart operations in Phase Three of the State’s reopening plan.
Phase Three businesses include:
- Restaurants / Food Services for indoor dining at 50% of maximum occupancy;
- Bars and social/membership clubs at 50% of maximum occupancy;
- Personal Care
- Tattoo and piercing facilities
- Appearance enhancement practitioners
- Massage therapy
- Spas
- Cosmetology
- Nail specialty
- Tanning
- Waxing
Specific guidance for the businesses included within these categories can be found by visiting the State’s NY Forward website at https://forward.ny.gov/phase- three-industries.
To reopen when Phase Three begins, businesses in Phase Three categories must go to the NY Forward website and review the guidance, their industry’s business safety template, and affirm via an online form that they have implemented the measures outlined.
Businesses are encouraged to put in place any additional safety measures as needed. In addition, businesses should keep their reopening plan and attestation to the State on file, so it is available should it be requested.
