Two indicted for murder in Cattaraugus County

The Cattaraugus County Grand Jury has indicted Jeremiah Desjarlais and Derrick Marsh in connection with the homicide of Chad Skoken, occurring on January 12, 2020, at 37 Waite Avenue, in the City of Salamanca.  Both Defendants were arrested following an investigation by the Salamanca Police Department, which was also assisted by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Department.
Desjarlais was charged with Murder 2nd Degree, a class A-1 felony; Assault 1st Degree, a class B felony; Strangulation 1st Degree a class C felony; Conspiracy 2nd Degree, a class B felony; Tampering with Physical Evidence, a class E felony; and Concealing a Human Corpse, a class E felony.
Marsh was charged with Murder 2nd Degree, a class A-1 felony; Assault 1st Degree, a class B felony; Robbery 1st Degree, a class B felony; Conspiracy 2nd Degree, a class B felony; Tampering with Physical Evidence, a class E felony; and Concealing a Human Corpse, a class E felony.
Both Defendants remain in the Cattaraugus County Jail and are scheduled to be arraigned in the Cattaraugus County Court on Monday, in Little Valley.
