Kristopher R. Francisco, 24, of Scio, NY, died Saturday,
March 28, 2020.
He was born November 4, 1995, in Hornell. A 2014 graduate of
Scio Central School, he earned an associate’s degree in heavy equipment
operating from Alfred State College in 2016.
He was employed as a heavy equipment operator with Operating
Engineers Local #158. Kris loved bowling and motorcycle riding.
Surviving are: his father and step-mother, Rex R. and Tina
Marie Merrell Francisco of Scio; his mother Dawn Walters of Utica; a daughter,
Faith Sawyer Jean Francisco; four siblings, Tanya (Sean) Stcyr of Bloomsfield,
Timothy (Jayna) DeGroff of Lexington, SC, Amanda (Jeffrey) Fanton of Hornell,
and Andrew (Katrina) DeGroff of Bolivar; paternal grandfather, Frederick
Francisco of Wellsville; maternal grandparents, Ted and Linda Walters of Verona
and Burdette and Clara Merrell of Bolivar; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and
cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Faith Francisco, who
was his guardian angel.
A memorial service will be held at Riverside Assembly of
God, Wellsville on a later date. Burial will be with his grandmother, Faith
Francisco, in Forest Hills Cemetery, Belmont.
