Starting tomorrow and Friday we will be offering pick-up and
delivery of groceries and supplies at 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. As we have limited
drivers that are able to assist with this the dates and times starting on March
30th will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9 a.m., 12 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Additional hours may be added. This service is intended for the sick and
elderly that cannot make it out to the store during this crisis. Please
understand that this is something new that is being implemented and there are bound
to be some areas that will need improving. Our plan is that the customer will
call the store of their choice and place their order, store employees will do
their best to complete your order and call you back to confirm any
substitutions or items that aren’t available. You will need to make payment
arrangements with the store, and we will not be delivering alcohol or tobacco
products for liability reasons. The store manager will then notify us that they
have a delivery ready to go. A driver will show up at your door, ring and knock
to notify you that they are there, they will then step back 10 feet to ensure
you receive your items. We ask that you please maintain this distance and do
not come in direct contact, this is for your safety. If you are quarantined, in
isolation or nervous to open the door we ask that you acknowledge through a
window or by turning a porch light on and off. We hope that those that need
this service utilize it. Giant Food Mart is still offering their curb side
pick-up as well.
