Born on April 8, 1934, in West Clarksville, he was a son of
George E. and Dorothy A. Manley Dennis who predeceased him.
Deryl owned and operated Dennis Body Shop in Cuba for many
years. He also owned and operated
Deryl’s Place before retirement.
He was a member of the Cuba VFW Post 2721 and the Cuba
American Legion Post 655. He enjoyed
hunting and fishing, especially the fishing trips to Canada and on Lake
Erie. He was also a fan of St.
Bonaventure Basketball.
He is survived by a son, David Dennis of Goodview, Virginia;
three grandchildren, Derek, Danielle, and Doug Dennis; two brothers, Ronald
(Janice) Dennis and James Dennis, both of West Clarksville; three sisters, Betty
(Gerald) Dunshie of Shinglehouse, PA, Sharon (Butch) Robinson of West
Clarksville, Ellondene Lamberton of Red Springs, NC; Many Nieces and Nephews. In
addition to his parents he was predeceased by a daughter Deborah Dennis who
died shortly after birth, twin sons Doug Dennis and Daniel Dennis, and a
brother George Manley (Karen) Dennis and Robert W. Dennis. At his request there
will be no funeral services at this time.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under
direction of the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc.,
Cuba.
