ALLEGANY COUNTY TRANSFER STATONS REMAIN OPEN

All Transfer Stations remain open for recycling and residential waste disposal according to their regular schedule.
As part of the continued effort to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus, and to protect Allegany County residents and our employees, Solid Waste annual Hang Tags and Mark-Off tickets will be available through the mail ONLY. At this time, we are unable to offer in-person sales at the County Office Building or at the Landfill property on County Route 48 in Angelica. We strongly encourage you to not visit the County Office Building or Landfill Scale Office on County Route 48 to purchase Hang Tags or Mark-Off tickets. All fees remain unchanged from last year.

Blank applications for Hang Tags and Mark-Off tickets as well as the Transfer Station schedule can be found online (scroll to the bottom of the page, it will be on the left) at: https://www.alleganyco.com/departments/public-works/solid-waste-department/.
Blank applications are also available at every transfer station location.
Please mail applications with payment to:

Please make checks payable to: Allegany County.
