This is an Official Press Release from the Allegany County
Clerk’s Office and DMV.
Starting March 17, 2020 the Allegany
County Department of Motor Vehicles will be staffed at 50 percent. With that stated, all DMV transactions will
be done by appointment only. You will
have to call The Allegany County Department of Motor Vehicles at 585-268-9267 to
schedule an appointment. We will not let
any lines or queues form for DMV business.
All scheduled visits will be 15 minute intervals. No walk-ins will be taken.
The County Clerk’s office will be
staffed at 50 percent. We are advising
the public to only come for critical official county business.
