Felony marijuana arrest made during traffic stop in Belfast
An Erie County man is facing a felony charge after he was stopped by
state police on Route 19 in Belfast late last night. 61-year-old John J.
Luterek of Cheektowaga was charged with 3rd degree criminal
possession of marijuana, that’s a class E felony. Troopers allege the man
possessed over 8 ounces. Court action is pending.
