The Andover Volunteer Ambulance Corps. in conjunction with the New York State Department of Health Bureau of EMS is proud to announce to our community members, travelers, neighboring agencies, and our Membership that we have officially been granted a Level of Care Upgrade to the EMT - Critical Care Level. Over the last 10 months the Chief’s, Board of Director’s, and Membership of AVAC have worked tirelessly to meet the requirements to establish this Level of Care for our resi...dents. With this Level of Care we are now capable of providing quick and precise life saving care without relying on an outside agency to provide services that our members are trained and certified to provide. The Chief’s would like to thank our Board of Director’s, Membership, Community Members, Dr. Frank Edwards, NYS DOH BEMS, Jones Memorial Hospital, and everyone who has supported us in this adventure. We look forward to providing the best care available to the patient’s we are called to serve!
