State Police investigated deadly crash in Steuben County UPDATED

State police investigated a deadly crash. It happened just before 5 p.m. Sunday on State Route 415 in Campbell. The crash involved a motorcycle and a vehicle. Dead is the motorcyclist, 65-year-old Terry Hill of Lindley. Troopers arrested the other driver, 42-year-old Robert Neally of Corning. He was charged with driving while intoxicated. Neally was remanded to jail on $75,000 bail. Additional charges are pending.

PRESS RELEASE
On October 14, 2018, at approximately 4:27 P.M., the New York State Police at Painted Post investigated a car vs. motorcycle fatal accident on ST-415 in the Town of Campbell. A 2003 Subaru station wagon being operated Robert Neally, age 42,  of Campbell, NY  was northbound and turned left directly into the path of a southbound 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle being operated by Terry Hill, age 65,  of Lindley, NY.
Hill was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Steuben County Coroner. Neally was arrested for DWI and traffic charges, with criminal charges pending. Troopers were assisted at the scene by the Steuben County District Attorney’s Office, Steuben County Sheriff’s Office, Steuben County Emergency Management, Campbell Fire Department, AMR Ambulance, and NYSDOT.
