FILLMORE - Ida M.
Curran of 10909 Dugway Road died Saturday, October 6, 2018 in the Wellsville
Manor. She was born on May 14, 1924 in the Town of Centerville, the daughter of
the late Curtis and Arvena Morris Webster. On May 18, 1946 in the Fillmore
Wesleyan Church she married Francis “Bud” Curran who predeceased her.
Ida was a member of the Friends in Christ United Methodist
Church and taught Sunday school for many years. She loved spending time with
her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Some of her favorite activities with
them included baking and sewing.
Surviving is a daughter Nancy (Brandon) LaValley of Belmont,
a daughter-in-law, Sandra “Sam” Curran, three grandchildren, Kristina (Jeffrey)
Belanger of Painted Post, Justine Curran of Buffalo, Erin (Jason) Wolcott of N.
Chili, 12 great-grandchildren, Mira and Noah Belanger, Zackary Curran, SGT
Alora Wolcott, Lydia (Curtis) Heale, Madelyn, LCpl Ivan Wolcott, Ethan, Isaak,
Naomi, Anna and Elias Wolcott, a brother, Clyde (Louise) Webster of Nunda and
several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased
by a son, David M. Curran and a brother, Cecil Webster. Family and friends may
gather from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at the
Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N Genesee Street, Fillmore where a funeral
service will follow at 3:00 p.m. Sam Wolcott will officiate. Burial will be in
Pine Grove Cemetery, Fillmore. Memorials if desired to: Brooks Hose Fire
