WELLSVILLE - Geraldine Betty Bogle, 84, of 3983 Fords Brook
Road South Branch passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Jones Memorial
Hospital following a brief illness. She was born October 16, 1934 in the Town
of Willing, the daughter of the late Rev. William A. and Rev. Ruth L. (Morland)
Brownell. On March 17, 1963 in West Bingham, Pennsylvania she married Thomas C.
Bogle Sr. who survives.
“Gerry” was raised on Fords Brook Road South Branch and
attended Wellsville High School. She was employed by ACES at the Wellsville
Campus of Alfred State College, and later at the Central Dinning Hall on the
Alfred Campus. She retired in 1997. She was a devoted Christian, and a caring,
and loving mother and wife. She formerly attended the Riverside Assemble of
God, and the Wellsville Full Gospel Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband is a son, Gary (Mary)
Dunham of Howard, a daughter, Roxanne Maxcy of Andover, three granddaughters,
one grandson, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She
was predeceased in addition to her parents by a son Thomas C. Bogle Jr. on
April 23, 1998, two brothers, Robert and William Brownell, and one sister,
Helen Green.
Friends are invited to call on Tuesday, October 23, 2018
from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Wellsville Full Gospel Church, 2221 Hanover
Hill Road, Wellsville. The funeral will follow visitation at 2:00 p.m. in
church with Pastor Jessie Tanner presiding. Burial will be in York Corners
