John W. Dill, 52, of Texas, was operating a tractor trailer
eastbound on RT20A at about 11:15 a.m. when he fell asleep at the wheel. The
tractor trailer left the roadway, going off the south side of RT20A and
sheering off a utility pole. The 2016 Volvo tractor was able to be driven from
the scene but the trailer he was pulling needed to be towed due to damage it
sustained in the accident. DILL was issued a ticket for Failure to keep right
and is to appear in the Town of Warsaw Court at a later date. There were no
injuries reported from the accident.
The Warsaw Fire Department assisted at the scene for several
hours helping with traffic control.
