A Coudersport man who drove recklessly in Southern Potter County almost two years ago is headed to prison. A Potter County judge sentenced Derrick Gleason, 32, of Coudersport to 140 to 280 months in state prison. Gleason crashed his vehicle September 18, 2015. Two passengers were killed. Gleason was found guilty by a jury on Feb.15 of all 18 charges, including the following five felony counts: two counts of homicide by vehicle and one count each of aggravated assault by vehicle, aggravated assault and criminal mischief-tampering with property. Potter County District Attorney wishes to thank Trooper Makin, Corporal Sean Batterson, Corporal Stephen Schmit and the witnesses that testified at the time of the trail.
