Dresser Rand/Siemens dumps more jobs in Olean

Dresser-Rand, a Siemens business has announced that two dozen administrative jobs will be leaving Olean. Those jobs are being shifted to other divisions of the company. In a statement to the Times Herald, the company says it appreciates the dedication and professionalism of the workforce. It also said, "As we continue to navigate a challenging global energy market, there is a business need to consolidate some office functions in Olean elsewhere in Siemens’ existing U.S. footprint. Employees affected by this very difficult decision have been offered the opportunity to relocate."
