Two injured, driver charged in crash on Route 19 in Willing

Two people sustained injuries of unknown severity following a single vehicle crash this morning on State Route 19 in Willing. The incident, not too far from the Pennsylvania state line, was reported at 1:33 a.m. Sunday. According to radio reports, at least one person was in the roadway with a head injury. First Responders said visibility was severely reduced due to fog.
State police listed the driver as Teresa A. Dexter, 34, of Genesee, PA. She sustained minor injuries and was evaluated at the hospital. Troopers charged her with unlawful possession of marijuana.
Police said two passengers were also transported to Jones Memorial Hospital. Attempts to bring Mercy Flight or Life Flight to Wellsville for transport were grounded due to poor visibility. Assisting at the scene were firefighters from Willing and ambulances from Wellsville, Whitesville and Genesee, PA.
Dexter will answer the charged in town of Willing court at a later date.
