PRESS RELEASE
The State Police stationed in Painted Post were contacted about a missing 22-year-old male - Calvin B. Ross from Los Angeles, California. The investigation revealed that he received a ride from another male subject from LA. The two men pulled into a rest area to get some sleep at 3:30 a.m. when Calvin exited the vehicle and ran into the woods. At 5:30 a.m. Ross never returned so the driver contacted 911 and reported him missing. The State Police responded to the scene along with a K9 and a search was initiated. State Police from Painted Post and Bath searched the area for approximately one hour and then located Ross naked in the woods a short distance from the rest area, not injured. Calvin Ross was taken to Corning Hospital and evaluated.
