Genesee Valley Chorus "Back to the Fifties" concerts

The Genesee Valley Chorus will be performing two “Back to the Fifties” concerts at the David Howe Library Auditorium in Wellsville Friday, June 2 at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, June 4 at 3:00 p.m.  The Genesee Valley Chorus is currently in its 41st year of performing to the delight of those in Allegany County and surrounding areas.  The chorus is under the direction of Norma Bartlett and accompanied by Carole Aldrich.
Some of the musical selections included in the performance are: “Jailhouse Rock”; “Who Put the Bomp”; “Da Doo Ron Ron”; “Can’t Help Falling In Love”; “A Very Special Love”; “Chances Are”; “Unforgettable”; “All I Do is Dream”; “Bye Bye Love”; “Rockin’ Robin”; “Big Girls Don’t Cry” and “It’s My Party”.  The performance includes numbers by the entire chorus as well as some soloists and small groups.
The concerts are free and open to the public with a free will donation taken to support the musical efforts of the chorus.
