Surviving are: her
parents, Joseph and Judith Hanes of Mills;
a sister, Kathleen O’Connor of Oak Park, IL; a brother, Joseph E. Hanes, Jr. of
Torrington, CT; an uncle, Robert Hanes
of New Smyrna, FL; four aunts, Harriett
(Frank) Arreola of Magna, UT, Naomi Hanes of Sunderlinville, Miriam Lucy Hanes
of Lawrenceville, and Beverly Channey of Bradenton, FL; and 17 first cousins. She was predeceased by three uncles, Herbert
Hanes, Harry Hanes, and William Hanes; an aunt, Lois Hanes; and two first
cousins.
Cremation was at Olney-Foust Crematory. A memorial gathering will be held on a later
