We have all been affected by the cancellations, closings,
and safety measures that have been put in place to control the spread of
Covid-19. Even though the pandemic curve is flattening, we feel that it would
not be in the best interest of the public to host a large social gathering.
Because the Festival is one of our main sources of income,
the Scio Lions are looking for ways to be able to raise funds to support our
community projects. Some of the events and programs that the Scio Lions support
include the school backpack program, Senior Class scholarships, eyeglasses for
qualifying students, helping with ramps, the Blind Association, the SPCA, and fun
events like the town Halloween and Christmas parties.
As we find new ways to raise funds to provide support to our
community, the Scio Lions thank you for continuing to support your local Lions.
Together, as we face the future, it is our hope that you all
remain safe and healthy.
