Wellsville Central School issues statement update

School statement:
Due to the fact that active cases of COVID-19 are present in our community we are proceeding with caution. Our campuses remain closed to all. We do anticipate receiving authorization to bring in essential personnel to begin the next phase of our emergency closing plans by mid-week. Our first priority as a district is to attend to the health and well-being of our school and community. We have plans to address these needs but need information to more accurately serve our students and families. We ask that all families take a few minutes to fill out a needs assessment by clicking on this link https://forms.gle/aJwq6uqcYkNYt9Tk8

Medication/RX return: We are making arrangements to have any medications students have stored in one of our health offices returned to families. Our staff will be in communication with those specific families to arrange for their return.

Grab and Go Meals (Lunch/Breakfast included): We anticipate having "Grab and Go" student meals available for distribution beginning on Thursday, March 19th between the hours of 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Secondary School Campus. When picking up these meals please use the bus loop of the Secondary Building to drive up to the main entrance. Wait until the distribution area is clear before coming to pick up your items. A table will be placed in front of the school or in the space between the exterior doors and the inner doors depending on the weather. When picking up the Grab and Go box please go no further than the first set of exterior doors. It is critical that everyone observe social distancing during the pickups.

Remote Instructional Plans: We are working with our teachers to providing "Supplemental Instructional Materials" for students. Stay tuned via Facebook, student email (Secondary School) for more information as these plans emerge.
