Local and county leaders join state officials and representatives from Quicklee's to celebrate construction progress |
Local, county and state officials Thursday afternoon celebrated the continued Crossroads development off I-86 in Amity. Ken Perelli, Vice President and Chief Operations Officer for Avon-based Quicklee's said the Crossroads location could be open by the end of July. He noted that weather has cooperated and the project is ahead of schedule. Fueling pumps and canopies will be installed in April. He said the travel center will include a Quicklee's convenience store. The inside will host a special area just for truckers, showers, a two-story fireplace, a meeting/gathering area and a food court. The travel center will also include a quick service restaurant that will be named in the near future.Craig Clark (left) and Curt Crandall (right) review the Crossroads travel center project |

Allegany County Industrial Development Agency (IDA) Executive Director Craig Clark has previously said the IDA remains in talks with a hotel developer.
