Traffic slowed in Belfast when truck dumps blocks

Traffic was snarled in Belfast this morning on State Route 19 just north of Transit Bridge. A Medical Transport Service ambulance was headed to an emergency call when it notified 911 that a tractor trailer had apparently overturned, dumping concrete blocks across the highway. Initial reports indicated the driver was not injured. Fire crews responded to the scene. The NYS DOT also responded to assist with the cleanup.
