Cuba woman injured when tractor overturns - UPDATE

A 62-year-old Cuba woman suffered potentially serious injuries when the tractor she was operating Sunday afternoon rolled over and pinned her. Cuba Police Chief Dustin Burch said the accident happened about two miles into the woods off Jackson Hill Road. He said help was called to the scene from Cuba and New Hudson fire departments and Cuba ambulance. Rescuers used a UTV to bring the woman out of the woods. She was then flown by Mercy Flight to Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo. Burch said the woman suffered multiple lacerations and a puncture wound to the abdomen. He said her injuries were described as "potentially significant."
